There is no purchase required as these are challenges for artists.  However there is public voting and it's alot of fun going to each artists blog to see their designs for each challenge as well as the process they used to create it. And we'll if a design strikes your fancy and tou want to inquire about a purchase you can do so by contacting that artist. Each of us are given the challenge to design a piece in any medium that is within that chosen category. It really does push us to think outside the box and try new things. And it's fun to see what we come up with :)
